Productivity & Happiness

Children are happy when they are allowed to do things that make fun. If they are encouraged to live out their phantasies they will grow wings which might carry them away. They sparkle with creativity, vitality and they own a thirst for knowledge many adults have lost. Maybe they build sandcastles containing five battlements, spaceship-landing platforms or they paste lots of minions on the tapestry. Happiness, creativity, productivity and easiness. Many artists are able to delve into their work and experience a real flow state. They are totally absorbed by it and happy. Can one experience the flow state with any other job? The Hungarian researcher Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi affirms this question. As long as a human is able to use his strength and the work coincides with his values the satisfaction grows and wings the emergence of ideas. Can one conclude that happier people are intrinsically more productive?
